I've noticed something with my journals,
THEY'RE SO BORING.
They're mostly just updates on what's happening in my life in the most BORING. WAY. POSSIBLE.
So, instead of telling you about my stupid and-very-much-broken camera, I thought I'd tell you about this AMAZING program my school is doing, along with some basic information about where I live.
If you don't feel like learning anything, go ahead and skip this.
First off, I should tell you about this ISLAND that I live on.
For all of my life I've lived on a rock in the South-West Coast of British Columbia, Canada.
Immediately you may think that I'm talking about Vancouver island, BUT YOU'RE WRONG. I live on a smaller island that is South of Vancouver island. On this island there is about 2500 to 3000 permanent residents and out of those 2500-3000 residents, about 120 are children that go to school. Did you read that right? Let me repeat it for you: MY SCHOOL HAS APPROX. 120 STUDENTS, GRADES K-8 See? SMALL ISLAND. Now, despite it's size, my school is pretty awesome. Y'know that Olympics thing that happened in Vancouver last year? My WHOLE school got to see venues, pretty awesome eh? But that's off topic. This year, the teachers of the "older" students (Gr. 6-8) decided that every Tuesday, the students would spend two blocks researching about or doing something that they have a passion for, let it be photography, construction, or cooking, the students will use all the school's resources to study whatever they want. The teachers also had a wonderful idea that they would involve the community and get some professionals helping out the students. This program has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and it's pretty amazing.
I would really like to tell you what the program's called and give you a link to the website, but I would rather not post the exact island that I live on for all of the internet to see et cetera.
So, yeah. That's the program and some information about this silly little rock I live on.
If you have any questions about this program I can answer SOME, but not all of them.
If you read ALL of this, I would like to congratulate you, and I would like to give you some cheese
I'm REALLY tired at the moment so if there's any grammar mistakes, spelling mistakes and so on, please tell me right away!
My hand is starting to cramp from typing for so long so I'm going to stop typing now.
Bye!

well this is awkward
Because of tumblr, moving, and other various things (but mostly tumblr), I haven't really been around DA to post my photography... oops.
But I have a new camera, and I've been slowly getting back into the swing of things. I'll probably start posting again soon.
I've also been deleting a bunch of my older stuff that I don't really care for anymore, and I would like to apologize in advance if I delete some of your favourites.

Psh, Ivy, your life isn't boring.
What about that time with the computer, the cookie, and Pikachu? Man, that was awesome.
